Bustard & Jacoby Funerals, Cremations, Receptions - CasperClyde “Ralph” Helms, 83 of Casper, WY passed away on July 31, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Anyone who knew Ralph knew that he loved to joke, was the life of the party, never knew a stranger, had an unwavering faith and was a man of God. Ralph would always share the word of God with anyone who was willing to listen. Ralph loved his family unconditionally and his leaving this earth is a great loss for his family and friends.
Ralph was born in Sheridan, WY and raised in Casper, WY by his parents Nina and Clyde Helms. Ralph graduated from NCHS in 1959 and enlisted in the US Army shortly thereafter. Ralph was honorably discharged in April of 1967 and returned to Casper. Ralph was a tradesman, truck driver, teacher at Casper College, and Asst. T Bird Coach. Ralph enjoyed playing pool, dancing, fishing, and spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, who he adored.
Ralph is survived by his daughters, Eeron Helms, Julie Ruda and Stacey (Dustin) James; son, Jesse Bell; brother, Bob; sisters, Edna and Charlie; and numerous grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Nina and Clyde; sister, Georgie; brother, Bill; brother-in-law, Jack; granddaughter, Abagail; cousin, Melva; and other family members.
The funeral will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Restoration Church. Interment with military honors will follow in Highland Cemetery.
