Clyde Everette Lewis III, 68, of Milton, Florida passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025.

He was born in Pensacola, Florida on November 26, 1956, to parents, Clyde Everette Lewis, Jr. and Syble Brewer Lewis.

He spent his life in the Milton community. He was a loving son and friend to anyone who had the blessing to know him.

He graduated from Woodham High School. He went forward in his talents with construction and built many of the base housing complexes in the Northwest Florida area, as well as the homes in the civilian sector.

He was an avid outdoorsman and found a love of nature with fishing and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his father Clyde Everette Lewis Jr.; his sister, Cynthia Renee Lewis of Milton, Florida.

He is survived by the love of his life, Paula Griffin; his mother, Syble Lewis; three daughters, Christina Colvin, Tara Allcock of Pensacola, and Brandy Griffin of Milton; and nine grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, 6405 Highway 90 W, Milton Florida with visitation from 1:00-2:00p, and service at 2:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow the service at Bagdad Cemetery.
