Clyde Luttrell Obituary
Mr. Clyde Luttrell, 76 of Oak Ridge passed away Wednesday January 7, 2026, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a member of Bible Believers Chapel in Harriman. Clyde was an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and since 2017 he has served as Post Commander for Amvets Post 2 in Oak Ridge. He retired from Brushy Mt State Penitentiary after 33 ½ years. Clyde loved to go croppie fishing.
He was preceded in death by his son: Seth Luttrell.
Daughter: Lori Ann Luttrell.
Parents: Noel & Betty Luttrell.
One brother: Bryant Luttrell.
Sister: Gail White.
Brother-in-law: Bob Upchurch.
He is survived by wife: Patti Luttrell.
Four sisters & brothers-in-law: Noelene & Steve Haynes, Connie & Ron Agee, Elaine & Rick Messer, and Becky Upchurch.
One brother: Noel Luttrell, Jr.
And many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday January 15, 2026, at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. The funeral service will follow at 6:30 PM with Bro. Jeff Hughes officiating. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday January 20, 2026, at 12:30 PM. in East Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery in Knoxville.
