Clyde Wayne Pointer

Mr. Clyde Wayne Pointer, age 72 of Quitman, died peacefully at his residence February 17, 2022. Mr. Pointer was a kind and gentle person who enjoyed being involved with his work. As a youngster Clyde loved to hunt and fish and found a real nitch when computers evolved. He was a graduate of West Monroe High School and attended U.L.M. before entering the Navy and spending years being a code breaker. He later was s Security System Technician until his retirement.
His mother, Myrtle Pointer is left to cherish his memory and he was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Luther Pointer; brother, Clifton Ray Pointer.
Visitation will be held 12:00pm until 2:00pm Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the chapel of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home with a graveside service at 2:15 in Brooks Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Morrow officiating. He will be interred at Brooks Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.
