Clyde Sallee Obituary
He was born in Sonora to Claude and Ida Richardson Sallee. He was a proud employee of General Electric. He loved helping other people. He was a long-time member of Center Point Baptist Church. His passion was fishing with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mainie Louise Hatfield Sallee; mother, Ida Richardson Sallee; father, Claude Sallee Sr.; and a son, Michael Sallee.
He is survived by his daughter, Debroah Sallee of Clarkson; two grandchildren, Michael Ray Sallee and Amber Sallee; three sisters, Lottie Sue Setzer of Leitchfield, Barbra Lue Taylor of Elizabethtown and Delores Jane Bailey of Elizabethtown; and a brother, Billie Sallee of Horse Cave.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. EDT Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Danny J. Sallee officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT Tuesday at the funeral home.
