Clyde Edward Sanders, 76, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late William Lawrence and Fanny Marthers Sanders.
Clyde loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He loved his hometown of Winnsboro where he served on town council, loved the beach, the Carolina Gamecocks, and playing with his band, The Reunion Bande, which he founded. Clyde loved all his careers, but his favorite was his latest endeavor of working at Tractor Supply.
Clyde is survived by his friend and companion, Judy Corder; son, Mark L. Sanders; brother, Sonny Sanders (Ann); sisters, Patsy Quarles (Raymond deceased), Rebecca Boulware (Mack); daughter in law, Joye Sanders; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Brice Sanders.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 3:00 Pm Saturday, October 18, 2025, at First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro. The family will receive friends for a reception following the service in the fellowship hall.
