Bishop Clyde Woodfork Jr.

Bishop Clyde Woodfork, Jr. was born on July 25, 1944, to Clyde and Roxie Ann Johnson Woodfork, Sr., in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Dunbar High School in Temple, Texas, in 1963 and later attended the Automation Institute College in Chicago, Illinois.
He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967 before relocating to Chicago. Later, he worked at Fort Hood Military Base as an Environmental Technician, specializing in asbestos removal, for five years.
Bishop Woodfork went on to serve as Pastor of At The Foot of The Cross Ministries in Temple, Texas. Even after retiring in 2020, he continued his dedication to the ministry.
In his free time, Clyde enjoyed carpentry and playing golf. He was also a proud member of the Veterans Helping Veterans Organization.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don Brooks and Garland Brooks; and a sister, Delois Brooks.
Survivors are a daughter, Monique Woodfork of Chicago, Illinois; cousins, Jocelyn McHaney of Peoria, Illinois, and Charita Ross of Chicago, Illinois; nephews, Graylin Rector and Ronald Rector both of California; niece, Vanita Adams of Chicago, Illinois; and a host of friends.
