Mrs. Edna Clydean McGregor Ard, 94, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026. She was born March 9, 1931 in Thaxton to Elijah Anderson McGregor and Cornelia Pickens McGregor. Clydean worked as a medical records clerk at Grenada Lake Medical Center for many years. She was also a devoted homemaker and a model pastor's wife. Through the years, Clydean shared her talent as a pianist with many of the churches where she and her husband served. Clydean also loved cooking delicious meals for her family and loved ones. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Friday at the Guinn Cemetery in Pontotoc County with Rev. J. Barry Worrell officiating.

Survivors include her son, Jack Ard and his wife Rosie of San Antonio, TX; three granddaughters Kim Nga (John Nguyen) Diep, Aurora, CO; Stephanie (Paul) Owens, Helotes, TX; and Lisa (Joe) Fay, New Haven, CT. She also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren: Austin, Emily and Marcella Nguyen; Matthew and Grace Owens; and Austen and Zooey Fay; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Clydean is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Ceral Clinton "C.C." Ard; and three sisters, Audrey Williams, Vivian Franks and Sybil Gullick.
