Coby Don Juan

Coby Don Juan of Warrior Ala. passed away on Dec. 26, 2025, at the age of 25. Visitation for Coby will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Warrior Memorial Gardens.

Un hijo incomparable, inteligente, recerbado pero dedicado a nosotros, un hombre trabajador y acomedido en nuestro hogar y siempre dispuesto a ayudarme en todo. Con planes de un futuro. Cada dia disfrutando de nuestra compa nia al sentarnos en la mesa o a salir juntos contandonos lo mucho o poco que se imaginaba o deseaba que mas puedo decir fue mi primer amor y uno de los seres que e querido mas. -- Betty

As many younger siblings do, I admired my brother. I still do. Growing up he wanted to be many things, one of those things was to be a protector. Even if it wasn't the wisest choice or I didn't deserve it, my brother defended me. He defended many loved ones, but mostly just me his little brother. I chose his obituary photo. I chose it to show the smile he gave right before laughter. A laugh my dad looked forward to every day and a smile so hard to capture, that my mother learned to take a photo when he didn't know. The smile I saw right before he teased me. He smiled a lot. He was a great son and an even greater brother. -- Cole

Coby was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alejandro Morales Alvarado; aunt, Ana Luisa Morales Esparza; uncle, Jose Guadalupe Morales Esparaza; cousin, Cruz Alejandro Morales Rosales; and great-grandparents, Candelario De La Torre, Sofia Barrientos, Perfecto Don Juan, and Fransisca Moreno. He is survived by his parents, Arturo Javier and Betty Don Juan; brother, Cole Don Juan; grandparents, Silvia Patricia Don Juan, Arturo Don Juan, and Maria De La Luz Esparza.
