Dear sweet Cody, I only knew you for a short amount of time, but I will hold those precious memories with me forever. You were a kind and gentle soul and are missed. Hugs and prayers to your family and those who loved you.

Will always remember Cody from meetings and discussions at Carlsbad, NM, dog park. Was a great friend and will miss him so!

I never met anyone else that immediately felt a bond. I knew he was someone special from the start! We only were able to spend a few months together, but we became fast friends and I will sincerely miss him! I send my condolences to the family and prayers for strength.

You will be severely missed by Kathy and I. We all had some great times during my year deployment to Ruidoso. Thank you for showing me some Billy the Kid spots I never had a chance to explore before. You became a good Brother to me, my friend. You will be truly missed by Kathy, Lego and myself. RIP Brother.

Cody was the most kind and generous soul. He gave my husband, Paul, and me a gift certificate to stay at the Inn of the Mountain Gods along with tickets to the Spencer Theater to see the "Beatles". He always had a smile. We love you, Cody!

Cant believe you have moved on from this life so soon my longtime friend. Will miss our conversations. The world lost a wonderful soul. You made the world a brighter place.

I remember the weekend trip Steven and I took to visit you in Ruidoso and you let us stay with you! We went on the mountain coaster, had a couple drinks and had a lot of fun. You and my dad would bet on college football before he passed. RIP Cody, you´ll be missed.

I miss our talks. I was supposed to make you dinner and enjoy the bottle of bourbon I brought you. RIP.

Gosh I miss you. I've caught myself looking at your phone to calll you and I can't. The kids will always remember you for being the best uncle. I know you are enjoying heaven and making everyone laugh but man I wish you had more time here. Love you

I still remember the day Cody enrolled in my English class at Capitan High School. I thought he was the nicest, most polite young man I had ever encountered. He was a joy to have in class, and I kept up with him throughout his adult years. You will really be missed, Cody.
