Cody Mathew Fry, 58, of Bridgeport, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Born on November 7, 1966, in Azle, Texas, Cody was a beloved son, partner, and friend. He is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda (Bishop) Fry, and his step-brother, Wesley Fry.
Cody, affectionately known as “Bubba” and “Coco,” had a vibrant spirit that brought joy and laughter to those around him. His warm heart and unwavering kindness were evident in his willingness to help anyone in need. Cody had a passion for life and a love for shopping, particularly for gold bling, which reflected his larger-than-life personality and was a dedicated worker.
He is survived by his partner of 34 years, Mario Lopez; his father and step-mother, George and Alicia Fry; his sister, Ginger Fry; his father-in-law, Raymond Lopez, Sr.; his step-sister, Amie Lyons and her husband, Marcus; his sister-in-law, Terry Lopez and Art Leon; his brothers-in-law, Raymond Lopez Jr. and his wife, Becky, and Paul Lopez; his nephews, Derek Read and Wesley Lyons; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish his memory and miss his quick wit.
Cody’s legacy of love and laughter will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
