Cody McClain Obituary
Cody Wayne McClain, 25, of Hutto, TX, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
Cody found joy in the simple treasures in life - a beautiful day on the water, homemade crab traps set before dawn, hours watching his smoker cooking a feast for friends and family, putting in a hard day's work at the shop taking pride in his work, being a phone call away from a family member stranded, fixing anything that would brighten someone else's day, working on his boat, Love Affair, and loving on his cats - Clarke and Flynn.
Cody was predeceased by his grandfathers Joseph Vlodyka and Ken Claro. He left behind his Mom, Julie Hackett, Dad, James McClain, his sisters Kayla Koch, Kylie McClain and Jessie McClain, his grandmothers Linda Claro and Gerri Gayner and many close family members, friends and neighbors who loved him deeply.
A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, July 13, 2023 6:00-8:00pm, CST at Beck Funeral Home, 4765 Priem Lane, Pflugerville, TX. Cody's life will be celebrated in a private ceremony on the Gulf Coast at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) of Texas or your favorite animal rescue/shelter.
We miss you, Cody Wayne McClain ("Cody Bear").
