Marí was such an intelligent woman with an admirable spirit to confront all those in opposition to her. She constantly stood up for herself and others within less represented communities both politically and personally. She was amazing with music and art, I wish we could have seen her progress in the coming years. She lives on in the hearts and minds of those who know and love her.

Sarah Mae, who I knew as Cody, is without a doubt one of the sweetest, most intelligent people I've ever known. I was blessed to know Sarah Mae only about 5 years, but she will always be permanently stamped in my memories as a funny, creative, kind, sweet child who always found "the loophole" and frankly, was far more intelligent than most of us adults with whom she spent time. I am heartbroken that our world no longer has Sarah in it. It was a far kinder, creative, and interesting world when she was on Earth. My condolences to all her family and friends.
