Cody Lane Wilkerson, 23, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.
Born on January 23, 2002, to Timothy Wilkerson and Alicia Lynn (Crane) in Odessa, Cody lived a life full of energy, kindness, and resilience. From a young age, he loved riding bikes, ice skating, and spending time at the skate park. His adventurous spirit extended to fishing and enjoying time with friends, always with music playing in the background.
Cody was a compassionate animal lover with a gentle heart. More than anything, he took immense pride in being a brother and uncle. His bond with his sisters was deep and unwavering, and his determination to always rise above life's challenges was truly inspiring. Cody's warmth, resilience, and unwavering kindness will be forever remembered by those who knew him.
He is survived by his sister, April Dawn (Wilkerson) Tomlinson (Seth) of Fountain, CO; his aunt, Shannon Dilley; his nephew, Christian Gray (Melody); great-nephews, Leeroi Gray and Conroi Gray; and nephew, Reece Tomlinson.
Cody is preceded in death by his parents, Alicia Lynn (Crane) Marvin and Timothy Mark Wilkerson; his sister, Brittany Bacon; and his lifelong friend, Trevor Smith.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM, with the funeral service immediately following at 12:00 PM.
Cody's joy for life, kindness, and resilient spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
