Jerry C. Walsh, age 81 of Springfield, Missouri passed away at Cox South Hospital Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 12:56 PM. He was born the son of Lewis C. and Rosette (Rose) Walsh in Alexandria, Virginia. Jerry was united in marriage to his wife, Myoung Sun October 10, 1982, and was a member of Sunset Church of Christ and the National Rifle Association.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Rose Walsh, grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Myoung Sun of Springfield, Missouri.

In addition to serving 25 years in the U.S. Army, Jerry was an avid sportsman. He loved hunting, fishing and traveling with Myoung. In his younger years he loved snow skiing, especially in the high mountains of Germany where he was stationed in Worms for 3 years. Following in the footsteps of his paternal grandmother, he loved cooking and baking. Jerry was always protective of and loyal to friends and family. We will miss his dimpled smile.
