Cole Chavez passed away Tuesday March 7th, 2023 at his residence in San Antonio,
Texas. Cole Chavez was born February 2, 2001 in San Antonio Texas to Carlos Chavez and
Camille Maldonado. Cole attended Bulverde Creek Elementary, Tejeda Middle School, Johnson
High School, Clark High School, and graduated from Churchill High School in June of 2020.
Cole attended Northwest Vista College in
San Antonio, Texas. At Churchill Cole was part of the
career and Technical Education Center for Pharmacy Technician. He planned to become a
Pharmacist Technician to help pay for his college. Cole volunteered at the Council of the San
Antonio State Hospital every Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Being around Cole you felt heard and never judged. He made you feel welcomed. He
listened to everything you had to say and would always consider your feelings. Cole could
always push you out of your comfort zone and always made you try new things. When Cole was
passionate about something he loved he went all out and took the time to master it. Cole played a
big part in everyone's lives. He was unforgettable, he left his mark everywhere he went. Cole
always kept himself occupied trying new hobbies, volunteering, traveling, going on adventures,
and spending time with his loved ones. He was definitely a busy person always trying to go
above and beyond. We will always remember Cole as being intelligent, wise, fierce, and a loving
soul.
Cole Everette Chavez was a bright young soul loved by many. He died unexpectedly at
the age of 22. Cole was interested in psychology, nature, and sociology. You could often find him
meditating, doing volunteer work, or reading informative books. The loss of his life has affected
so many. He loved nature, he loved scenic views, and loved to help others. His passion was
knowing how the brain functions, and trying to empathize with others. All of his friends thought
he was so much cooler than everyone else. Cole was the funniest kid ever. He made everyone
around him smile.
Life After High School (His Dream)
"Cole has interests serving in the United States Air Force. Cole will be attending
Northwest Vista College, with a concentration in Pharmacy Technology and transfer to the
University of Hawaii at Manoa or Brigham Young University-Hawaii, with a concentration in
Biology and undergo the Holokai Curriculum, which requires students to obtain two minors.
Cole will minor in Public Health and Chemistry after completing college in Hawaii. Cole has
plans to return to
San Antonio, Texas, to study at the University of Texas Health Science Center
at
San Antonio, Texas specializing in the practice of psychiatry, diagnosing and treating the
psychiatric population in maximum security settings, challenged, with high elopement risk
patients, such as prisons; psychiatric unit prisons, state hospitals; jails, and government
operations. Later on in life, Cole will pursue a solo-practice in psychiatry, within San Antonio,
Texas. Cole's commitment is to earn a real estate license as a side career to induce more streams

Camille Maldonado, father Carlos Chavez, siblings; Christian, Camden, Chase, Chloe, Clay, and
Chiara Chavez
