In Loving Memory of Colin Coffin
May 10, 1985 - September 16, 2025

Our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Colin Coffin, passed away far too soon on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after complications from an ulcer led to significant blood loss.

Colin's life was a gift of brightness, humor, and joy, something words can scarcely capture, though we will always try. He had a heart of gold - gentle, kind, selfless, and endlessly giving. Colin rooted for the underdog, whether on the field or in life, and he always marched to his own beat, proud to be himself even when it wasn't the popular choice. He had an extraordinary ability to see the best in everyone.

Brilliant and creative, Colin was a natural writer and an avid reader whose deep curiosity for history fueled both his love of stories and his remarkable mind. He could make anyone laugh and had an incredible memory, able to quote any movie perfectly and add humor and delight to every conversation. Kids were naturally drawn to him - his nephews, the children of his friends - anyone around him felt his warmth, joy, and genuine goodness.

His loyalty was unmatched; he kept his circle small, but for those he loved, he would do literally anything. Colin had a profound sense of intuition, always knowing what truly mattered in life.

Colin is survived by his mother, Cindy; his siblings, Tyler (Divina) and Callie; his nephews, Christopher and Nicholas, and a close circle of extended family and dear friends. Colin now joins his father, Alan, in eternal peace, no doubt playing catch and watching sports (Go Pads!) together once again.

In memory and honor of Colin, please consider donating blood if you are able - your gift can save lives. Visit sandiegobloodbank.org or redcrossblood.org to find a local donation center.
