WORCESTER —Colin W. MacDonald, 76, died peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester. He was born in Milford, the beloved son of the late Ronald and Alyce (Marchand) MacDonald.
Colin graduated from Doherty High School and attended Worcester Junior College. He went on to work at Worcester County National Bank, Shawmut Bank, and Fleet Bank, supporting Computer Output Microfiche Operations. He later worked for NEC, where he supported the Massachusetts State Police Automated Fingerprint Identification System. He achieved CompTIA A+ certification and more recently owned his own computer repair business, serving many clients in the Wachusett region. Colin married Evelyn D. He was an avid motorcyclist and hiked Mount Wachusett almost daily for as long as he was able. He was happy to fix anything computer or mechanical. He loved all animals and enjoyed the companionship of many dogs, cats, and birds during his lifetime. He was a skilled aquarist.
