OXFORD - Matthew Allen Conway, beloved husband, father, son, uncle, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2026, at the age of 41.
Born on February 27, 1984, Matthew worked in the tree service industry and loved being outdoors, high in the treetops. He also devoted 18 years to YRC and was a member of the Teamsters Local 170. His favorite pastimes include hunting, fishing, playing his guitar, cooking on the grill, and sitting around a campfire with his family listening to his favorite country station or Creedence. But nothing brought him more pleasure than spending time with his children doing “guy stuff.”
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lisa Conway, his two children, Ethan Conway and Jacob Hackett, his mother, Rebecca Carolan, his step-father, Edmund Atchue, his sister, Maggie Carolan, his brother, Nicholas Carolan, his niece, Adrianna Duguay and his nephew, Jaxson Duguay. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Conway and his grandmother, Daveeda Conway.
Matthew will be remembered for his strength, determination, and devotion to the people he loved. His legacy lives on in the lives that he touched, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave unconditionally.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 10th, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
