Age 81, of Riverdale, passed away, Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home with family by her side.
Colleen was born February 7, 1943, in Alma, the daughter of Al and Gertrude Olson. She graduated from Alma High School and was the Home Coming Queen for the class of 1960. Colleen married Gary Brantley on July 1, 1961, in St. Louis. She was a member of the Seville Community Church of God. Colleen enjoyed her flower gardens, going on road trips, sewing and knitting. Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Karin (Duane) Keeler, Rob Brantley, Michelle (Kevin) Eberhardt, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and sisters Pat Weatherby and Elaine Meihls.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Carol Crowley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at 12 pm at the Seville Community Church with Pastor Bob Fall officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 11 am until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Seville Community Church of God. To Colleen´s sisters, Pat and Elaine, her children Karin, Michelle and Rob and extended family I send my prayers and deepest sympathy for your loss. Colleen and I graduated together from Alma High and enjoyed many family reunions and gatherings through the years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and it was easy to see that her family was her top priority. I will truly miss her kind heart and wonderful smile. May she rest in peace.
