Colleen Frayne

Colleen Frayne, age 70, of Hackettstown died suddenly Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Cape May, NJ. Colleen was born September 20, 1955 in Dover, NJ to Doris (O'Brien) Neal and the late Milton Neal. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, John Neal.

Colleen was formerly employed by Beneficial, Morristown, NJ as a Secretary before marrying her husband of 45 years and raising her two daughters. She then went to work for Shoprite of Mansfield, NJ and finally of Kohl's, Mansfield, NJ as a Sales Clerk for many years before her retirement in 2008. She loved family gatherings and her infectious laugh was always the life of the party. She loved going on vacation to Maine, Aruba, Turks and Caicos, however she especially loved Cape May where she spent her days on the beach. Her most happiest times where when she got to spend time with her grandchildren, who she adored with all her heart. Colleen will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Colleen is survived by her loving husband, Michael J. Frayne, two cherished daughters, Holly Gruen and husband Michael, Michelle Riddle and husband Joshua, her devoted mother, Doris (O'Brien) Neal and step-father Fred, a brother, Billy Neal, two grandchildren, Ethan Gruen and Addison Riddle.
