Colleen Adams Green, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Rexburg, Idaho on Friday, August 22, 2025, surrounded by family.

Colleen was born on April 25, 1943 in Great Falls, Montana to Maxine Austin and Ursel Lewis Adams. She was raised in Fairfield, Montana with her sister Connie and her brothers Austin and Duane. She graduated from Fairfield High School as Valedictorian in 1961, then received a pharmacy degree from the University of Montana in 1966, where she graduated at the top of her pharmacy graduating class.

While studying at university, Colleen met Richard Donald Green. They were married and sealed for time and all eternity on September 16, 1965 in the Cardston, Alberta Temple. After they finished all of their schooling, Richard and Colleen moved to Spokane, Washington, where they raised their six daughters.

Colleen learned the value of hard work at a young age growing up on her family's farm, and she continued that good work ethic as she helped support her family as a full-time retail pharmacist. After a career spanning 46 years, Colleen finally retired at the age of 70 to spend more time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Colleen was a lifelong, devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She faithfully served in many callings, including ward organist, ward librarian, Relief Society teacher, choir director, ministering sister and as a devoted ordinance worker in both the Spokane, Washington and Rexburg, Idaho temples. Her life was a reflection of quiet strength, generosity, great loyalty, and selfless service to others.

Colleen found joy in playing and listening to sacred music, baking bread and cookies, vegetable gardening, flower gardening, eating cherry pie (and other desserts), giving hugs, and doing service projects, such as making lap quilts for each of her grandchildren. More than anything, she cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Richard; her six daughters, Rebecca (Russell) Hansen, Roberta (Patrick) Kimball, Rachel (Troy) Lott, Rhyanne (Kale) Gray, Raylin (Allen) Andersen, and Rhonda (Scott) Rooker; 16 granddaughters, 10 grandsons and 20 great grand-children.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2041 W 5200 South in Rexburg, Idaho. A viewing will be held that morning from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Interment will be held at the Victor Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
