MITCHELL – Colleen Kaye Hendrickson, 54, went to her heavenly home Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Memorial service was Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Memorial may be given in Colleen's name to Heart and Soul.

Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Parkston.

Colleen was born February 14, 1969 to Clifford and Eldora (Schuh) Isaak in Parkston, SD. She attended Mitchell High School and graduated in 1987.

She attended college in Florida where she obtained a degree in Travel and Tourism. She moved back to Mitchell where she worked for Godfathers Pizza.

She was united in marriage to Michael Hendrickson on April 8, 1989 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mitchell. The couple moved to Sturgis, SD where Colleen worked for MPI for 17 years as well as DiTech and Acuma Mutual.

They moved back to Mitchell in 2021 to be closer to her mother. Colleen loved to travel, ride her motorcycle, cross-stitch, and play cards and games. She also enjoyed listening to music and played the piano and organ.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Michael of Mitchell; daughter, Heidi (Stephen) Fontenot of Black Hawk, SD; a sister, Carol Linn of Center, ND; two aunts: Marjorie Krutzberg of Parkston and Joyce Peters of Lennox, SD; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim (Deb) Hendrickson, Jack (Diane) Hendrickson, Donna Himelrick, and Dorothy (Don) Johnston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law, Allen Linn and a sister-in-law, Diane Colton.
