Colleen was born on August 22, 1946, in Evansville to the late Elmer B. and Mathilda C. (Roedel) Bockelman. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and a homemaker. Colleen was a member of Zion Lippe United Church of Christ, American Legion Funkhouser Post 8 Ladies Auxiliary, the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1114 and a former member of St. Paul's UCC on West Michigan Street.
Colleen is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ralph Heneisen; a daughter, Shannon (Johnny) Johann; son, Shawn (Michelle) Heneisen; four grandchildren, Jonathan (Haley) Johann, Kody (Ashlee) Johann, Brock Heneisen and Katelynn Heneisen, and three great grandchildren, Paxton and Elih Johann and Holley Jochim.
Funeral services for Colleen will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 610 E. Walnut Ave, Evansville, IN 47713.
