Colleen Nelson, 88, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Bethany on University in Fargo.
She entered this world on June 7, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN, born to John and Bertha (Boyum) Nelson. She attended school in Robbinsdale, MN graduating in 1955. Colleen worked as a bank teller at 1st National Bank and Marquette National Bank in Minneapolis.
In 1972 she moved to Detroit Lakes, MN and moved to Fargo, ND in 1977. She loved Lake Superior, traveling with her family, and enjoyed working on puzzles. She always enjoyed her Dr. Pepper and her chapstick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Michael Watkins and Christopher Watkins.
Colleen is survived by her children, Daniel (Angela) Watkins, Fargo, ND; Cathy Knight, Fargo, ND; David (Alessandra) Warm II, Boynton Beach, FL; Karen (Todd) Boss, Fargo, ND; Rebecca (Anthony) Bauer, Fargo, ND; and thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
