COLLEEN ELIZABETH POPRAVAK
November 14, 1962 ˜ March 27, 2023
Colleen Elizabeth Popravak, 60, passed away unexpectedly at home in Vancouver, WA, on March 27, 2023. Now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, she was born in Evergreen Park near Chicago, IL, on Nov. 14, 1962. Colleen was a caring and loving soul, always willing to help others.
Colleen graduated Evergreen High School in 1980. She was active in drama, French club and Future Farmers of America; in concert band playing the flute and other wind instruments, concert choir and in Vancouver’s Pops Orchestra. She studied in health sciences, became a Licensed Practical Nurse in Calif. in 1993, and returned to Vancouver to continue her nursing career.
Colleen is survived by sons Peter Bush, San Diego, CA; David Bush, Selah, WA; CPO Nicholas Bush, USN (wife Ashley), Honolulu, HI; grandkids Neala Bush, daughter of David Bush and Kelly Greer, and Liam Bush, son of Nick and Ashley Bush; parents, Terrence G. Popravak, Sr. and Helen M. Popravak; sister Dawn and brothers Terrence Jr., Daniel, Erik, Nicholas and Michael.
In remembrance of Colleen, who was fond of animals, her family requests any donations in honor of her memory be made to your local no-kill animal shelter.

I work where Colleen lived and every day I encountered Colleen was a better day because of who she was. I am glad I had a chance to know her. I miss her.

My heart is heavy to hear the news of Colleens passing. She was my friend in High School. Colleen was a real friend to me when I moved to Vancouver, Wa.. We were in Concert Choir together.
