It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Colleen Marie Rahier, age 73, of Chisholm, Friday, March 6, 2026, in her home with family at her side.

She was born August 31, 1952, in Hibbing, the daughter of Kenneth and Darlene (Berg) Willett. She grew up in Angora and Hibbing, then raising her family in Eveleth. She later returned to her roots in Hibbing/Chisholm. She was united in marriage to Richard D. Rahier on January 31, 2023 in Oatman, Ariz.

Colleen primarily worked in the healthcare field as a caregiver for people with disabilities. She was passionate about assuring all people are treated with respect and dignity. Those she cared for felt that deeply. She recently retired as the Group Home Manager after many years with Faces North, Inc. Colleen lived an active life on her terms. She loved fishing & camping - spending many summers floating the shores of Swan and Red Lake in search of a big walleye. She enjoyed her cars and ATVs, namely driving her Can Am & Mustang like a pro with Tina Turner blasting on the stereo. And her garden was always blooming with her favorite flowers, especially roses and sunflowers!

She is survived by her husband: Richard; daughter: Kelly (Michael) DeNucci of Hibbing, MN; son: Richard Rahier, Jr. of Crookston, MN; grandchildren: Kaelea Leinonen, Jack Lind, Ben Lind, the Rahier crew; Zachery, Kiley, Nicholas, Jackson, Logan, and Brandon; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends; and her dog: Daisy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Linda, Bonnie, Cheryl, Kenneth Jr. "Bucko;" and son: Joseph Leinonen.

Visitation will be from noon until the 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel in Hibbing. Greg Anderson will be the Celebrant.
