Collena A. Pinkham (Connie), age 75, of Boothbay Harbor, Maine, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 10, 1949, in Lewiston, Maine, Connie was a cherished daughter of the late Solvieg Alfreda Johansen and James Ramsey. She also was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Tommy and Billy Ramsey and Sandra Sprague.
Connie attended Morse High School and dedicated over 45 years of her life working as a domestic engineer for James and Virginia Kite. In addition to her loyal commitment to her work, Connie formed deep friendships with those she cared for, particularly with Sherrie and Jimmy Kite. Her compassion extended to caring for Mary-Louis Cowan for many years, embodying the kindness and warmth for which she was known.
An enthusiastic cook, Connie took immense joy in preparing meals for her family, especially during the annual Christmas gatherings where her culinary delights brought everyone together. Known affectionately as "Nanna CC," she treasured the time spent with her family, including her grandchildren, Weston Alley (Jasmine), Max Alley (Kathleen), and Collin Thompson (Kate), as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Savannah, Sunni, Brady, Madilynn, Benjamin, and Abigail Alley.
Connie's vibrant personality shone through in her love of conversation and her penchant for shopping at T.J. Maxx and Walmart. Her warmth and humor, often expressed with a sarcastic charm, brought joy to all who knew her. In addition to her husband, Gary Pinkham, she is survived by her daughters, Sherri Thompson (Donald Durrell) of Eustis, and Angela Pinkham of Boothbay Harbor her niece, Jennifer Manson (David), who she cherished "like a daughter," her brother, John Ramsey (Charlotte), and many dear friends, including Rachel Leeman and Sherrie Kite family.
A celebration of Connie's life will be held at the Boothbay Fire Station on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at 1pm, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and reflect on the beautiful legacy she has left behind. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an account established at the First National Bank for the care of her daughter, Angela Pinkham, who is battling metastatic esophagus cancer.
Connie A. Pinkham will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.
