  Colton Ross Kelican, age 32, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born on November 15, 1991. Colton's vibrant life was filled with a variety of interests and passions including swimming, card games, board games (particularly chess), debate, bartending, and assisting others. He found joy in outings to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor, supporting the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. Colton held a special place in his heart for his beloved dog "DEW" and had an open-hearted nature that effortlessly connected him with everyone he met.

  Colton's selflessness was evident in his unwavering dedication to supporting his mother during her battles with cancer, where he willingly put aside personal pursuits to be by her side through every phase. Known for his magnetic personality and innate ability to bring smiles to those around him with a kind word or gesture, Colton leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.

  He is survived by his father, Richard D. Kelican; grandmother, Simona Kelican; uncle, Jack Kelican; aunt, Vivian Roth; uncle, Rick Roth; and numerous cousins from Texas, West Virginia, and Virginia.

  Colton was preceded in death by Charles Jackie Kelican, Sr.

  A memorial service in honor of Colton will take place at 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas. During this time of remembrance, friends and family will come together to celebrate Colton's life and the impact he had on those around him.
