Colton (Colt) Wade Stevens, longtime Ponca City resident passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with friends and family by his side. He was 30 years of age. Colton was born in Ponca City, OK to Brad Stevens and Robin Rhoten. He grew up in in Ponca City and graduated in 2012. In August 2017 Colton accepted Christ and was baptized at Life Church in Ponca City.
Colton loved spending time with his children and the outdoors. Fishing and hunting were two hobbies that he relished. He always had a smile on his face when he talked about tournament fishing with his grandpa Dave and close friends. Colt enjoyed playing football, baseball and basketball when he was young. His family is thankful that he chose to give the gift of life to many others through organ donation.
He was preceded in death by grandfather Dave Stevens and grandfather Phillip Dixon. Survivors include: grandmother, Sherry Stevens of Ponca City, grandmother Cindy Dixon of Ponca City, mother, Robin Rhoten of Ponca City and father, Brad Stevens of OKC, one brother, Cameron Stevens, one daughter Aubree, one son Camden and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Grandview Cemetery in Kaw City under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Honorary casket bearers include Cameron Stevens, Cole Nichols, Cache McCallick, Brandon Wilcoxson and Tylon Jones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Colton Stevens Memorial Fund to benefit his two children, c/o RCB Bank Ponca City, Oklahoma.
