Moultrie, Georgia – Comer Thomas “CT” Tabor, 88, of Cottonwood, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving wife, Faye, and sons, Mike and Jeff.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Private interment will follow at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service.
Born April 13, 1937, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was a son of the late James Samuel Tabor and the late Leila Jewel Teal Tabor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ronda Faye Tabor; brother, Wilifred Allen “WA” Tabor; and a sister, Audrey Marie Tabor Porter.
Following service to his country in the United States Air Force, he spent over sixty years in the pest control industry; some of that time was spent working for Getz Exterminating as Regional Vice President. In 1979, he founded Tabor Pest Control and worked with his wife, Faye; and children, Mike, Jeff and Ronda, until his retirement in 1996. His family loved working with him.
He and his wife, Faye, were happily married for sixty-six years. The have enjoyed many adventures together, including fishing and traveling, and together, raised four children, Tommy, Mike, Ronda and Jeff. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was very proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved them all deeply.
He was very quick witted and loved to joke around. CT was a great man and would do anything to help those in need, without ever asking for anything in return. He was well respected by all he came into contact with.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Faye Hunt Tabor; children, Tommy Tabor and wife, Carrie, Mike Tabor and wife, JoAnne, and Jeff Tabor and wife, Tracy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, JP Tabor, Mark Tabor and Betty Jewell Tabor; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
Mike and Jeff tirelessly cared for their father during his illness and thank all of the caregivers at Cornerstone and Hospice that provided love and support. Also, a special thanks to Donna, Keywanna, Aaliyah, Brittany, Laquita, Kenyetta and Kaelyne.
