Lamont Mortuary of GlobeConcepcion L. Cocreham, a beloved member of her community and a dedicated registered nurse, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, in Central Heights/Globe, Arizona, at the age of 93. Born on February 28, 1932, in Claypool, Arizona, Concepcion lived a life rich in family and love.
Concepcion poured her heart into her career as a registered nurse, touching the lives of countless individuals with her compassion and dedication. Her passion for caring extended beyond her profession and into her personal life, where she cherished time spent with family and friends.
Concepcion had many interests that enriched her life. She enjoyed family gatherings, sports, crafting, shopping, and reading, all of which filled her days with joy. Additionally, her artistic side shone through in her hobbies, which included crocheting, sewing, and gardening. These activities brought her happiness and allowed her to express her creativity while connecting with nature and loved ones.
She is survived by her loving children, Yvonne (John) Fornfiest, Michael Osorio, Stella Hutchinson, and Dicksie (Todd) Sitz; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-six great and great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Rudolpho "Al" (Robin) Lopez.
Concepcion was predeceased by her spouse, Richard Cocreham Jr.; daughter, Barbara Jo Pena-Cocreham; her parents, Ventura and Maria Lopez; and six siblings.
A visitation will be held in her honor on September 13, 2025, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami, Arizona, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, followed by a Rosary service at 9:30 AM. The funeral service will take place the same day, starting at 10:00 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Globe Cemetary.
Concepcion L. Cocreham will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, and the warm legacy of love and care she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
