Concepcion V. Prieto "Conchita", 95, entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2024 in El Paso, TX. Concepcion was loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by her parents, Refugio and Maria Vargas. Concepcion is survived by her beloved husband, Luis Ruben Prieto; her children, Mary Prieto Lopez, Ruben Prieto, Jose Luis Prieto, Ernesto Prieto and David Prieto; along with two sisters, Belen Vargas and Socorro Rey. Concepcion also leaves bahind, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild to honor and cherish her memory. She was very loved and will always be missed.
A VIsitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9205 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will then follow at 12:30 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79007.
