Mrs. Concetta Gozzi

Concetta (Malangone) Gozzi, 89, of Guilford entered into eternal rest Tuesday March 8, 2011 at Hospice. Born in New Haven, she was predeceased by her husband Bruno Gozzi, parents Gregory and Carmela (Criscoulo) Malangone , three brothers, Joe, Carl and Domenic , and a sister Mary. Connie retired as the head of the Guilford High School cafeteria in 1993 after 28 years of steadfast service. She was a devout catholic who attended St. George Church and leaves behind many great friends there. She is survived by her sons (and spouses), John Gozzi and Kerrie Dunne of Cheshire, Paul Gozzi and Pam Gozzi of Westbrook and Robert Gozzi of Guilford, a sister Jennie Cahoon of South Portland, Maine and a brother Frank Malangone of West Palm Beach, Florida, six grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. All will miss her dearly. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford on Friday, March 11 at 10 am. Burial will follow Mass in St. George Cemetery, Hubbard Rd, Guilford. Friends may call at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford, Friday morning prior to Mass from 8:30 to 9:30AM.
