Monday May 9th, 2022 Christopher William Gozzi, lifelong resident of Guilford and most recently of Madison, CT, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Christopher was born in New Haven, CT, on December 10, 1987, son of William E. Gozzi and Lindsey ( Williams) Gozzi. Brother of Matthew S. Gozzi and soulmate of Kristine Valente.
He is also survived by his grandparents, William and Mary Gozzi; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandparents, Sharpe and Jean Williams.
Christopher is a graduate of Oxford Academy, he was the owner of Gozzi Tree Service and a lifelong vital part of Gozzi Turkey Farm.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, working on his cars and motorcycles, snow skiing, waterskiing, and above all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest and touched the lives of many people, young and old. Chris was a great friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all.
Friends are invited to calling hours Friday, May 13th from 4-7pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford, on Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery, Hubbard Rd., Guilford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, 2502 N.
