Concetta Marino

Concetta Marino, 96, of Manalapan, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Cranbury Center Nursing Home.
Born in Italy, Concetta immigrated to the United States in pursuit of a new beginning and the opportunity to build a life centered on family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose strength, resilience, and dedication defined her life. Prior to her retirement, Concetta worked as a secretary. She took great pride in her work and in caring for those she loved. In her spare time, she enjoyed the simple pleasures of daily life and cherished time spent with her family.
Concetta was predeceased by her parents, Giovanni and Mary Cuzzocrea; her beloved husband, Salvatore Marino; her brother, Anthony Cuzzocrea; and her cherished granddaughter, Dana Marino.
She is survived by her loving children: sons Salvatore Marino (Judy) and Richard Marino (Kathy), and daughter Edie Rega (Michael); her brother, John Cuzzocrea; her grandchildren Salvatore Marino, Stephen Marino, Kristen McDermott (Brian), Michael Rega (Corinne), Sallie-Ann Valentino (Matthew), Richard Marino (Danielle), and Alyssa Marino; and her adored great-grandchildren Alexa McDermott, Deanna McDermott, Brian McDermott, Michael Rega, Nicholas Rega, and Gianna Valentino.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, January 19, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Manalapan. Interment will follow at Moravian Cemetery.
