Concetta Grace Palkowski

Concetta Grace Palkowski, a beacon of nurturing love and generosity, passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 83, in Greenfield, WI. Born on July 5, 1942, in Milwaukee, WI, to Salvatore and Antonina Pipia, Concetta's life was a testament to the power of family, faith, and the joy of giving.

Concetta's early years in Milwaukee were filled with the bustling energy of a large and loving family, which included her late siblings Angeline(Eugene)LeTendre, Peter(Rose)Pipia, Thomas(Rita)Pipia, Charles(Cheri)Pipia, Rose(Bruce)Smith, and Frank(Carol) Pipia. Throughout her life, she carried with her the cherished memories of a home filled with laughter, life lessons, and the rich aromas of traditional cooking.

Concetta began waitressing at her brother Tom's restaurant, where her warm smile and thoughtful nature made her a favorite among patrons, and where she met the love of her life, Florian Palkowski. She would later dedicate her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a nurturing environment for 64 years to her beloved husband, Florian, and their sons, Anthony and Robert. Her homemaking was not merely a job but a calling, as she poured her heart into every meal prepared, every garment sewn, and every plant tended in her garden.

Concetta's Christian faith was a guiding light throughout her life, informing her actions and her approach to the world around her. Her faith was evident in the way she lived her life and loved her family.

Her interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. An excellent cook, Concetta could often be found in the kitchen, where she prepared meals that were not only nourishing but made with love, and made sure nobody went home hungry. Her skills with crochet, needlepoint, and sewing were unmatched, and she created countless heirlooms that her family will treasure for generations. Gardening was another passion, and her home was surrounded by the beauty of well-tended flowers and plants that reflected her care and attention.

Those who knew Concetta would describe her as loving, generous, and thoughtful words that only begin to scratch the surface of her character. She had a knack for making everyone feel special and was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her legacy is one of compassion and kindness, traits that touched the hearts of many and will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Concetta is survived by her devoted husband, Florian, her sons, Anthony and Robert, and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Each family member carries with them the imprint of her love and the lessons she imparted through her actions and words.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at ST ADALBERT CEMETERY CHAPEL 3801 S. 6th St. Milwaukee, WI. Visitation at 10:00AM until time of Service at 12:00PM.
