Concetta Rauccio Tartaglia, age 93, of Norwalk, CT beloved wife for 58 years to the late Pasquale Tartaglia passed away peaceful at home surrounded by her loving family on September 27, 2025.
She was born on February 6, 1932 in Portico di Caserta Italy.
She was the eldest daughter of the late Domenico and the late Alessandra Engo Rauccio.
Concetta loved spending time with her family especially her late husband Pasquale, daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved sewing, gardening, cooking and dancing. She was a devoted Catholic viewing televised mass, praying the rosary and reading scripture daily.
She worked at Dooney and Burke for over 35 years, Majestic, and the Swank Company. In addition to her late, loving husband Pasquale, she is survived by five devoted daughters, Carmela Liquori and her husband Dan of Norwalk, Nancy Camarco and her husband Bob of GA, Angela Letrich and her husband Kalman of AZ, Virginia Tartaglia, Gloria Cocchia and her husband Jeff all of Norwalk, son-in-law David Ballard of GA. Concetta has 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her late husband Pasquale, she was proceeded by her loving daughter, Sandy Ballard, mother-in-law Carmela Gaudiano Tartaglia, father-in-law Angelo Antonio Tartaglia, step mother-in-law Martha Tartaglia and step grandmother-in-law Annunziata Passina.
Concetta has three brothers and two sisters Frank, Elpidio (Maria), Andy Rauccio, Maria (Bob)Hemingway, Carmela (Achille) Battaglia,
sister- in-law Carmela Tartaglia Valle, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Stanley and Carol Tartaglia, several nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded by her toddler brother Andrea Rauccio, brother Generoso and sister-in-law Rosa Rauccio, her sister Teresa and brother-in-law Gesuele Joseph Tartaglia, brother-in-laws Nunzio Tartaglia, Ferdinando Valle, and sister-in-law Lina Rauccio.
A special thank you to her hospice nurse Haley, Cathy and the entire RVNA Health team.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am at St.Thomas the Apostle Church, Norwalk. Entombment in St. John's Mausoleum will follow.
