Conley "Pete" Moren

Conley Walker "Pete" Moren, born on July 25, 1945, in London, Kentucky, passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 80. He was the beloved son of the late John and Irene Bailey Moren. Pete was a dedicated construction worker, serving as both an equipment operator and a foreman. He was a cherished member of the Slate Hill Baptist Church.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Callie Cleary Moren of London, Kentucky. He leaves behind two sons, Conley Moren II and his wife Tammy Sue of London, and James Chadwick Moren and his wife Tauna Lane of Lexington, Kentucky. He is also survived by his brother, Aubrey Moren and his wife Barb of London, four grandchildren, Leslie Renae Moren Hampton and her husband Fisher, Ashley Nicole Moren, William Thomas Moren, and Olivia Ruth Moren, as well as two great-grandchildren, Callie Jo Hampton and Walker Lee Hampton, plus a host of relatives and friends who also mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by seven siblings: Mary Lena Moren Lewis, June Moren Taylor, Bernice Moren McWhorter, Clifford Moren, Beulah Moren Reams, Beuna Fay Moren Evans, and Charles Edward Moren.

A graveside service for Conley Walker "Pete" Moren will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday at the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky with Homer Johnson officiating.
