Connae Joleen Denning, a beloved wife, mother, and devoted follower of Jesus, passed away peacefully December 3rd, 2025. She was born on March 13, 1955, at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, to Arthur and Arlene Jepson. Connae grew up in Auburn Hills, Michigan, cherishing time with her family and developing a lifelong love of music. A talented pianist, she honed her skill through college and graduated from Spring Arbor College in 1978.

Connae served as a church pianist for many years alongside her husband, Blaine Denning, sharing her love of music with children and adults alike. She was known for her gentle, generous, and joyful spirit, always offering a listening ear and encouraging her children to pursue their dreams.

She is survived by her husband, Blaine Denning; her children, Rebekah Tess, Benjamin Denning, David Denning, and Joshua Nicholas Denning; her daughters- and sons-in-law, Brad Tess and Reta Kae Denning; her sister, Sue Gillette, and her 10 grandchildren.

A funeral and burial service will be held in the spring in Milton Township, Michigan. Connae will be remembered as one of the sweetest people anyone ever knew, a woman who loved Jesus above all and brought light and music into the lives of everyone around her.
