Conner Wesley Walker

Conner Wesley Walker was born on December 15, 2006, to Dana Young and Jeffrey Walker. From the very beginning, Conner's life was shaped by love and loss. At just five months old, he tragically lost his father, Jeffrey Walker, who gave his life during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His absence would cause a huge void in Conner's heart and life, one that shaped him in ways both seen and unseen.

Conner graduated from Upson-Lee High School in 2025, where he was a member of the Upson-Lee wrestling team. He loved sports and especially enjoyed playing basketball and football with his friends and cousins, moments filled with laughter, competition, and connection that will be forever cherished.

As Conner grew older, he discovered a passion for music and rap, using it as a form of expression and creativity. Music became another way for him to share pieces of himself with the world.

Conner worked as an HVAC technician at Gold Star Heating & Cooling, where he was known as a hardworking young man who showed dedication and pride in what he did. He was someone you could count on, both at work and in life. He attended Northridge Church in Thomaston, deepening his faith.

Conner was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, and a loyal friend. His life, though far too short, mattered deeply, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him most.

Survivors include his mother, Dana Young of Thomaston; sister, Avah Smith of Fayetteville; grandparents, Teresa Pinner (Scott) of Fort Valley Teresa Murray (Dewayne) Roberta, and James Walker of Mendon, Illinois; great-grandparents, Dana Livengood (CW) of Patrick Springs, Denice Livengood of Martinsville, Virginia, Frances Durham (Charles) of Griffin, Harold Barnett of Hampton, and Anne Walker of Cordele; aunt and uncle, Josh Young and James Young; Kelly Walker Murray (Thomas) Roberta, and Kasey Walker (Crystal) of Fort Valley; cousins, Dylan, Hope, Grace, Anna, Angel, Matt, Jeffrey, Morgan, Matthew, Gage, Haley, Susan, Gene, Jordan, Colton, and Tristan; and many other loving extended family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Marc Pritchett will officiate.
