Connie Jean Barnhill, 66, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born January 2, 1959, in Searcy to the late Eugene and Ruth Hister. Connie was a member of Community Fellowship Church. She worked for Gray Family Dentistry and later Webb Family Dentistry for more than 25 years before retiring. Earlier in her career, she worked for Dr. Gary Sapiro.
Connie enjoyed crafts, making prayer shawls, serving in women’s ministry, and greeting at the church. She especially loved time with her family, including her favorite four-legged grandchild, Rooster.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Keith Barnhill of the home; two daughters, Cristy (John) Hundley of Jonesboro and Jennifer Barnhill of Plano, Texas; one sister, Josiephene Gulley of Jonesboro; and five grandchildren: Elizabeth, Dmitri, Samantha, Zachary, and Jaxon Hundley, all of Jonesboro.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Community Fellowship Church with Pastor Chad Wood officiating.
Burial will be private.
