My mama you have been my strength in this life being next to me in every chapter of my life. I know you are still with me every moment. Today and everyday, I wake up looking at the sky, looking at the sunrise and say GOOD MORNING to you and each sunset, I say GOOD EVENING to you because you´re forever in my heart. I hear the song, "Die With A Smile" on the radio and immediately think of you because that song reminds me of you. Mama, I dedicate that song to you. I love you mama. First holiday season without my grandma but thanks to the memories, love and life I had with her, it helped keep spirits high and joy in the air! Miss you always and you´ll always live on in my heart, mind, body and soul!

Oh mama everyday is a struggle for me! I know it´s not what you want to hear but I miss you so much. I grieve the loss of the greatest love and relationship i had with you and that i am grateful to have had in my life. Love you my Angel!

Connie was a wonderful lady in my life. I adopted her as my momma since my momma passed away. I will always remember always remember the great memories with her and the family! She will always be in my heart

I grew up spending almost every summer of my childhood with you. I remember the big moments but also the small ones. Like how you ate a fresh jalapeño with your scrambled eggs for breakfast. And making an overwhelming amount of buñuelos. The wholesome taste of your Spanish rice which none of us have been able to replicate. And our walks to the corner store to buy crackerjacks and a Squeezit. As a got older, I enjoyed our chats and learning about your life. You were the only grandparent to see me get married and celebrate my educational milestones.

Thank you for the influence you had on me. Love you, grandma.

This is not my first memory but I always thought it was funny how my Mom (Mattie Palmer) and Mrs. Blea always called each other Mrs. Palmer and Mrs. Blea and they were almost the same age. It was a respect thing. Also, on my Mom's 80th birthday we picked Mrs. Blea up for the birthday party and she was jamming in the back seat of the car.
