Connie Sue Brower, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, in Grand Rapids, MI. She was born on October 5, 1960, in Muskegon, MI, to Beverly and the late Elmer, and she lived a life that was as beautiful and vibrant as the gardens she so lovingly tended.

Connie's warmth and generosity knew no bounds. She was the beloved wife of Patrick, with whom she shared a life full of adventure and joy. Together, they raised a family that was her pride and joy. Her children, Keith (Heather) Griffin, Kyle Griffin, Robert Potter, and Christina Potter, were the center of her universe, and she instilled in them the values of love, compassion, and thoughtfulness. Her grandchildren, Gavin, Damion, and Adeline, were the apples of her eye, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A lover of the outdoors, Connie found solace and peace in the embrace of nature. Her camping trips were filled with laughter and stories that will be retold for generations. Traveling was another of her passions, and she explored the world with an open heart and an insatiable curiosity.

She had a special touch with flowers, nurturing them to bloom with an explosion of colors that mirrored her own vibrant personality. Her love for cooking was another way she expressed her care for others, often preparing meals that brought family and friends together around the table. These recipes will be cherished by her kids and grandkids.

Connie is also survived by her mother, Beverly Hawrysz; sister, Carla (Randy) Infante; and 7 nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Hawrysz.

Those who knew Connie will remember her as the epitome of thoughtfulness. She had an uncanny ability to sense the needs of others and to offer support before it was even asked for. Her kind words and gentle touch were a source of comfort to many, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire those she touched.

As we say goodbye to Connie Sue Brower, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life filled with love, beauty, and grace. She was a cherished soul who made the world a better place simply by being in it. Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Connie's life was a testament to the power of kindness, and her spirit will continue to guide us, like a flower reaching for the sun, long after her passing.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 1pm at the VFW Hall 5201 Airline Rd, just north of Fruitport. Lunch to follow
