Connie Jo Blanton Davis, 72 of Teetersville, passed from this life and opened her eyes to see the face of her Savior and smiling loved ones on Monday, January 12, 2026. She was a retired school teacher having taught at both Yancy and Cawood Elementary for twenty-five years. She was previously employed by the Harlan County Court Clerk, Howard Drug, Commercial Credit and the Harlan County Community Development Agency.

She was preceded in death by her father Edgar Blanton, her step-father Orville Renfro, her mother Lillian Columbine Renfro, one sister Sandra Adams, two brothers-in-law, James Coldiron and Charles Adams, one brother, Edwin "Moon Monkey" Blanton and her husband, Ronald C. Davis.

Left to survivor her are her Church Family of Teetersville Church of God, her prayer group Sisters of Pray-A Latte, her niece Karen Joyce Hall (Denny) of Cumberland, one nephew Gavin Hall of Cumberland, her sister-in-law, Mary Blanton of Teetersville, her goddaughter Brielle Daniels of Elcomb, and her cousin Rondal Shackleford.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 15th at Henson & Rich Funeral Home from 5-7PM with funeral services beginning at 7PM with Rev. Terry Adams officiating.

Burial services will be Friday at 11AM at Resthaven Cemetery Chapel with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions suggested to Teetersville Church of God, 47 Ohio Street Harlan KY 40831.
