McDougal Funeral HomeConnie Gunn Easterbrook, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at her home in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on December 29, 1945, in Beaver, Utah.
Connie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered around her family. She was the kind of woman who showed love through her actions-especially in the kitchen. She found great joy in cooking and baking, often bringing everyone together with homemade meals and treats that will forever be remembered.
She always found joy traveling with her family, creating beautiful memories that will always be treasured. Connie was her family's biggest cheerleader and rarely missed an opportunity to support the people she loved. She especially loved cheering on her sons Slade and Skyler at their basketball games and could always be found proudly watching her grandchildren at their sporting events, celebrating every moment.
Connie was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her faith was an important part of her life. She lived by example through her kindness, service, and deep love for her family.
She was the proud and loving mother of Shayne, Slade, and Skyler. She adored her grandchildren Alexus, Alyssa, Kylie, and Braxton, and was overjoyed to be a great-grandmother to Lyra.
Connie is survived by her son Skyler, grandchildren Alexus, Alyssa, Kylie, and Braxton, brother Tommy, sister Maryann, brother Jim (Mary Jane), brother Michael (Cheryl), sister Becky, and sister Heather. Preceded in death by her father and mother, two sons Shayne and Slade, brothers Gene and Richard, sisters Susan and Colleen.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
We wish to thank all those who have reached out and offered condolences, helped care for her, brought meals, and spent time with her.
Funeral services will be held January 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Maples 5th ward, 6592 W. Haven Maple Drive, West Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:00-10:45 prior to the service. Interment, Murray Cemetery.
