Connie Gobep Obituary
Connie was an avid animal lover, especially dogs. She enjoyed playing softball and gardening, she had several gardens that she tended to. Her favorite things to do outdoors were fishing and crabbing. She loved her family and cherished their time spent together. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Chad Reiher and wife April, Danny Charles Reiher, Andrea Gobep, and Patrick Gobep; grandchildren, Jada Andrea Nolasco, Zachary Pond, Brian Pond, Ashley Pond; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Sandra Clark, Jackie Royer, Billy Dowers, J.W. Dowers; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Viola Johnson; and siblings, Danny "Danny Boy" Johnson and Bonnie Nelson.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Interment to follow at Perkins Cemetery, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
