Connie Lou Hudman was born to Jack Donald Hudman and Joy Reda (McGee) Hudman on July 5, 1961 in Frederick, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on December 4, 2025 at the age of 64 years, 5 months and 1 day.
Connie grew up on a farm west of Walters in the Ahpeatone Community. She attended Walters Schools, graduating from Walters High School in 1979. She was in the Miss Walters Pageant that year and was voted Miss Congeniality, which was very fitting. She was a people person and made friends everywhere she went. She even made friends of perfect strangers she was talking to on the phone while trying to set up an appointment or changing insurance companies.
Connie had several occupations but they were all to “serve others.” She was a parts runner, worked in home health care, worked as a retail sales person and cared for her grandmother. She loved being a country girl and enjoyed nature.
She loved fishing, gardening, raising chickens, and picking wildflowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joy Hudman.
Survivors include 3 siblings, Beverly Cantrell and Jim of Lawton, Chris Hudman and Debbie of Geronimo, and Kathy Tinney of Georgetown, TX; her aunts, Nelda (McGee) Bivins of Wichita Falls, TX and Phyllis (Scherler) Prichard of Bethany, OK; her nieces and nephews, Cody Price, Lyndsey Hoffman and Brandon, Christopher Hudman and Cassie, Greg Hudman, April Lovejoy and Laura, Matthew Cantrell and Jennifer; several great nieces and nephews, as well as cousins from the Hudman, McGee and Scherler Families; and a host of friends.
