Connie L. Krigbaum, 83, of Monroe City, MO passed away at 5:32 am, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 16, 2024, at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home in Monroe City, MO. Pastor Kenneth Clair will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.
Friends and Family are invited to Connie's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
Connie was born December 8, 1940, in Hannibal, MO to Mack and Mildred Eager Damron. She was married to Ronald "Butch" Krigbaum in 1963 in Hannibal, MO. He survives.
Other survivors include her Children, Kimberlee Blaesing (Ed) of Quincy, IL, Ronnie L. Krigbaum (Michelle) of Philadelphia, MO, Grandchildren, Amber Krigbaum, Logan Krigbaum (fiancée, Tara), Sisters, Barbara Jean Norfolk of Union, OH, her twin, Bonnie Sue Hamilton (Dan) of New London, MO, Becky Frier (John) of Hannibal, MO, Debby Ketterer of Hannibal, MO, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her Parents, Niece, Jena Hamilton, Nephew, Dennis Norfolk, and Brother-in-laws, Dale Norfolk, and Jerry Ketterer.
Connie dedicated many years of service as a telephone worker at Southwestern Bell. In her later years she brought joy to many through her work in the cafeteria at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Connie's passions were as warm as her kitchen; she was a great cook, some of her specialties were fried chicken and meatloaf. Connie relished in her lunch gatherings with her sisters and cousins they would share not just meals together but great memories. Her love for the Food Network, home renovation shows, and the QVC shopping network was only matched by her enjoyment of board games or a hand of Old Maid. A lover of Christian and gospel music, Connie found solace in her daily Bible readings and was a fervent prayer warrior.
Her love for others was evident in the countless greeting cards she sent and treasured. Connie's legacy is one of love, faith, and the simple joys of life, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Connie was Baptist by Faith.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie L. Krigbaum, Johnny Dan Hamilton, Logan Krigbaum, Ed Blaesing, and Jeremy Ketterer.
