CONNIE S. LINGERFELT – 2/1/35 - 7/3/25
Mom was born in Fresno and married Odell Lingerfelt in June 1955. Dad preceded Mom in death September 1982. Mom is survived by 4 children: Candace Abell, Cynthia Bracher, Saundra McGuire, Dale Lingerfelt and her honorary daughter - Julie Krogen. Mom has 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren – all of whom she greatly loved. After losing her beloved Odell, Mom went on – working, enjoying her family and traveling the world with her many long-time friends.
Mom moved into the Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens 12 years ago and enjoyed being known as "The It Girl" and being involved in the many clubs and committees and her evening dinners with the "Girls of Milano". Our family thanks all the caregivers and nurses at The Terraces for taking such wonderful care of Mom this past year. She lived a full life, teaching us much and we are so happy that after 43 years Mom and Dad are finally reunited and dancing again.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Terraces of San Joaquin Gardens- 5555 N. Fresno Street - on August 9th at 11AM.

I have many fond memories of traveling with Aunt Connie. She was always ready for the next adventure. Walking together was one of our favorite things to do. Our travels to Hawaii were especially fun. Along the way we played MANY rounds of the card game GOLF. I think of Aunt Connie daily, her beautiful smile and love of family.
